From John Steynor Despite Lynn’s lifetime of playing and band leading, I never felt intimidated during the 10 years (1999-2009) Lynn played in the Christ Church music group. She was always fun and enjoyed my attempts at writing something she couldn’t play. I never succeeded. She was always note perfect, first time through. Rather than give in to arthritis she moved from Bass Clarinet to Bb Clarinet and finally to the Eb which was lighter and modified to help. She continued well into her 80s.
